Inspiration & Challenges
Tiffany of Munchkins and Mohawk: The session took place on the cusp of spring. Not only were we celebrating new life in the creation around us, we were celebrating the new life this family was about to bring into the world. We wanted the focus of the session to be solely on this beautiful family so we chose to keep the styling simple.
The lighting for this session was a bit of a challenge. The sun was extremely bright that day and there weren’t a lot of clouds for it to hide behind. So what did we do? We photographed the gorgeous mom in a wide-brimmed sun hat of course!!
Thoughts from the photographer
Tiffany of Munchkins and Mohawk: We are truly blessed to say that every family we photograph is remarkable! Our clients could not be more perfect, they’re amazing in every way! This family is from Europe and they have a love for life that kept the session flowing the entire time. We actually played European techno music for a portion of the session! The vibe that day definitely played off of their personalities which was awesome!
About the photographer
Tiffany of Munchkins and Mohawk: I became interested in photography when I became a mother. As a mom of three it’s my goal to hold on to every single moment I have with my children. I know that they’ll grow up all too soon and won’t be my little babies for long, I like to capture the sweet moments of life so I can cherish them forever. I love, love, love being able to give the same gift to other parents as well! Capturing the personality of a child in a photograph is a priceless and wonderful thing… I’m so blessed to say that it’s what I do for a living!!
