Love at first sight
The couple met at a coffee shop by fate. Howard instantly felt love at first sight and decided to approach Isa with a cup of dark hot chocolate. That was a magical moment for Howard.
Proposal story
Howard proposed to Isa during their trip to Kona this year on Valentine’s Day. Isa was there for a company function and never expected her team members to help out with the proposal; it was a surprise proposal indeed!
Advice for other couples

Thoughts from the couple
Isa & Howard: Our first priority was the decoration and flower design that would satisfy Isa’s love for a rustic but romantic vintage look for her big day.
We have interviewed a few decorators and florists but were not completely confident doing this on our own, so we finally decided to hire a planner from We Do Weddings Etc. to help us design and put together the entire wedding.
Isa & Howard: The décor and flower design that came out was beyond our expectation! WeDo Weddings Etc.’s team really pulled off a dream wedding for us and more. All the details from the event flow to decoration details were all so perfect.
Wedding planning general information
From the planner (We Do Weddings Etc): The wedding theme was inspired by the bride’s love for vintage and garden details. The final design was therefore to combine both elements and achieve the dream wedding style for Isa and Howard.
This wedding has 90 guests with an outdoor ceremony and a fancy indoor buffet reception. The venue was picked for the groom’s love for golfing, and the bride’s dream for a beautiful outdoor garden inspired ceremony. As a result, a Victorian garden inspired arch was the feature of this wedding. It was used both at ceremony and reception to complete this wedding theme.
Favorite wedding details
Isa & Howard: Our favorite wedding detail, other then the arch, was the idea of having different centerpiece for each guest table. Each centerpiece represents one room from a big vintage home. There’s a study room table, afternoon tea table, a powder room table, garden patio table and etc. All details used reflect the design of each room. In addition, a vintage car was hired to for the ride, which makes this day extra special.

Denise Lin: I was ecstatic when Howard and Isabelle hired me to photograph their special day! I was briefed of the details for their wedding and I just knew that their wedding would be spectacular. I wasn’t disappointed. With the talents of We Do Weddings Etc. and Balconi Floral Design Studio Inc. the wedding was amazing.
I loved being around Howard and Isabelle on their special day. They were as excited as I was during our photo session and they were so open to my suggestions.
I along with all the guests who attended the wedding felt very special to be part of the day. There were lavish appetizers, dinner and desserts, beautiful décor and a lot of heart warming and touching speeches.
