Thoughts from the bride
Cath: I thought the entire day went perfectly and the personal touches really made a difference, from having Kev’s sister, Karen, as our officiant to the custom bathrobes and aprons to the awesome speeches. Everything felt authentic.
Having events before and after the wedding meant that we were able to spend time with every guest. A word of advice for other brides is to relax on the day! Everyone kept saying what a relaxed bride I was. I’m glad that was the case so I could enjoy and take in every moment!

Jada Poon: From the moment Cath told me about her approach towards planning her wedding and how much she wants it to be an intimate affair with her closest family and friends for a relaxing and memorable few days of celebration, I knew it was going to be good. And it just got better and better as we talked more and more about the wedding details! Words cannot express all, so I will let the images tell the story, how heartwarming and relaxed Cath and Kev’s wedding was in beautiful Whistler, and how much effort they took in incorporating their personal touches into their wedding.
The wedding was genuine and heartwarming because all their closest families and friends were brought together to simply enjoy a celebration of love and friendship. Cath’s brothers and Kev’s brother were groomsmen, and Kev’s sister, Karen, was the officiant on the day. All the speeches made were so authentic and rooted in the heart.
Jada Poon: One thing for sure, it is clear as daylight that everyone was having one heck of a fun time! How amazing to witness the close bonds and friendship kept and nurtured amongst these high school friends throughout all these years, untouched by time- as they laughed and cried together throughout the wedding.
