The dream location
Lindsey and Paul wanted an intimate ceremony at a beautiful beach location, and they had 2 things in mind. The first was to keep the wedding small and intimate with only their family and close friends, and the second was Jamaica. They knew right away that they wanted a destination wedding, and Jamaica fits their budget perfectly.
Wedding planning
Paul and Lindsey coordinated with vendors and their hotly mainly via e-mail and with help from online wedding resources. The most important decision the couple made was choosing the perfect photographer, so every special moment would be captured and stored away for a lifetime of happy memories.
Thoughts from the photographer
Ken Tan: First off, it is basically a photographer’s dream to photograph a wedding surrounded by blue beach and white sand. I’ve photographed many weddings but Jamaica is definitely one of my favourite top destination wedding location and I think that Lindsey and Paul made a great choice. I really like the fact that the wedding was simple and only close friends and family were invited. This really makes the wedding intimate.
Wedding design
The decor for the beach wedding was kept to a minimum as they just wanted something simple. They knew that the scenery itself was amazing. Paul and Lindsey held an at-home reception after their destination wedding in Jamaica as well for those who could not make it to the occasion.
