About Mlle Artsy
Mlle Artsy: Who am I? Well my name is Stephanie aka Mlle Artsy. The name came from my high school art teacher. She called me Artsy once and it sticked. After seeing my work and after knowing a bit more about myself, I am sure you’ll know why I love this nickname.
The Beginning
Mlle Artsy: It all started when my lover proposed to me in October 2011. I always loved being different and stand out, and my wedding was not going to be any different. I love everything that sparkles, handmade, and I am obsessed with old antiques with lots of character. The idea of a brooch bouquet was perfect for my personality! With a name like Mlle Artsy I don’t think I need to explain how creative, hands-on, and artistic I am. It was a no-brainer for me to make this project a DIY. From that project was born a real passion and I wanted to transmit this passion and talent I had with other brides. After the wedding, I posted pictures of my bouquets online and within a week I had my very first orders.
Journey of Love
Mlle Artsy: Since then I’ve been making bouquets for brides all over North America. I learned many new techniques and started to offer different style of bouquets so I can reach more personalities and wedding styles. From brooches, to fabric flower, paper flowers, preserved flowers, buttons and more. All made of timeless materials so my brides can keep them in memory of their big day!

Mlle Artsy: My bouquets are all about details. In my creative process I love to get inspired by my brides – the texture of their dress, the theme and colors they’ve picked for their wedding, their personality, their passions – I like to learn as much as I can about the brides to create something that will truly represent them.
