We wanted the wedding to feel romantic, soft and intimate, so we incorporated a lot of lace and burlap accents.  Flickering candles created a warm glow that filled the room, along with the large white hydrangea flowers, and white tulle/draping.

Mathias Fast Photography: Christy and Scott were both so laid back on their wedding day that it made photographing them a breeze. Such a good day!   I loved how many other kids attended the wedding. All of them running around and breaking it down on the dance floor added a really cool element to the day.

 

 

The bridesmaids all wore unique dresses that were different shades of soft cream, and even the candy bar had every different shade of neutral candy. Christy’s birdcage veil was handmade by her step-mom.

Mathias Fast Photography: I’m a full time wedding photographer and I love what I do. Although Vancouver is my home, come October 2014 I will be splitting my time between here and Tanzania, where my wife and I are starting an orphanage. I’ll continue to photograph weddings in Vancouver during the summer. In the past three years I’ve photographed over 50 awesome couples all over the world on the best day of their life.
