We’ve been super excited about sharing Lauren & Rob‘s wedding with you today. Captured by an extremely talented Canadian team, Two Mann Studios, this wedding is full of surprises. Not only do we love the high color contrast and stunning scenes, this is also our first time seeing a bride being “canoed across the lake” by her father instead of the traditional “walk down the aisle”. The rain did not pour any negative emotions over the couple and their loved ones, it only seemed to pull everyone closer together. Please join us as Two Mann Studios share their amazing work and thoughts about this wedding.
An unforgettable ceremony
Two Mann Studios: There is nothing that brings family and friends closer together than huddling under umbrellas trying to keep warm, while watching a beautiful ceremony unfold. Lauren and Rob got married among the misty Rocky Mountains on the shores of Two Jack Lake, in the pouring rain. Pouring! Instead of the traditional “walk down the aisle” Lauren’s Dad canoed her across Two Jack Lake. It was a truly breathtaking moment when the sun shone for about 15 seconds, right after Lauren and Rob exchanged vows, as if mother nature was giving her blessing. It’s a moment in time we’ll never forget.

Dance the night away in a castle
Two Mann Studios: The reception and dance party was held in Saint Stephan Hall at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel. It’s always a treat to photograph in a castle, but shooting in a castle with the retro flavour of a disco ball and a rocking party was an extra special treat. We had so much fun capturing the shenanigans on the dance floor. Lauren and Rob, thank you so much for trusting us with your beautiful day!
Special thanks to Two Mann Studios for sharing this beautiful wedding with us! Be sure to check out more of their stunning work on their website and Facebook page!
