The love story
From the Bride (Sanda): Darius and I met through some mutual friends. We got to know each other and became close friends, but our pure “friendship” lasted for 2 years before Darius asked me out one day. Even till now, I really feel like I’m married to my best friend.
The proposal
Sanda: After we’ve been together for about a year and a half, Darius popped the question during our trip to Valencia. We had a wonderful day visiting the city. We saw lots of beautiful senery and tried some delicious food. Near the end of the day, Darius suggested we should take a break on a bench in the port of Valencia, and then he proposed! He gave me the ring under the gorgeous sunset and I said yes.
Planning Priorities
Sanda & Darius: Shortly after the proposal, we started to plan for our wedding. We lived in Madrid, Spain, but we wanted to have our wedding in Romania so that our family and friends could all attend. This meant we had to organize everything very well.
Sanda: I wanted the wedding to take place in a simple and modern venue, where all the guests can feel comfortable and really enjoy a good time.
Darius: What mattered the most to me was that Sanda would feel good on our wedding day and be satisfieid with all the results. I’m glad that we had a wonderful day and everything went exactly as we wanted!
Advice for other couples
Sanda & Darius: Our advice for future couples is to have a clear idea about what they want, and spare enough time to organize all the details. This would help to avoid stress and allow them to actually enjoy the wedding planning process and appreciate all the positive emotions involved.

Personal and special memories: the presence of both our families, some even traveled from Madrid to Romania to be with us on the wedding day.
Thoughts from the photographer
C.B. Cociuba Photography: This wedding was definitely the most important wedding to us as photographers, because the bride was Bianca’s sister. Being able to photograph her special day certainly brought us much joy! We are so thankful that we had the privilege and honor to photograph Sanda & Darius.
