A magical wedding
Michelle Gardella: Emily and Dan’s wedding was beyond special. Every single detail was personal and rooted in story and meaning. The entire day was soaked in love, laughter and the closeness of family and friends. I left this wedding completely in awe of just how deep and true their love really is.
The lovely couple
Dreaming Tree Events: Emily and Dan are an eclectic couple that show some amazing love for each other. Emily is a kind, gentle soul with a funny side, and Dan is a total goofball, which is totally awesome.
Behind the camera – about the photographer
Michelle Gardella: My name is Michelle Gardella and I live with my incredible husband (and second shooter) Thomas and our two children, Braedon and Lily. I am hopelessly dedicated to telling the truth with my images, and reflecting authentic beauty and love out into the world. My favorite weddings to capture are intimate, outdoors, and filled with personal touches.
An unforgettable moment
Dreaming Tree Events: My favorite part of the wedding day is when Dan totally lost it while saying his vows, and his brother had to read them. Then his brother wasn’t doing it to Dan’s standards, so he took it back and continued. It was an amazingly touching ceremony with a ring warming and it was even performed by one their friends.
Wedding design and planning
Dreaming Tree Events: Emily had tons, and I mean crazy tons of ideas and decorative items to incorporate into her wedding day. She just needed some assistance with narrowing things down and bringing the design all together. We worked on design ideas for a few months and when the day finally came, wow did we have some décor to set up. I am so happy she trusted me to throw all the items we had discussed together and let me set it up how I see fit. Trust is a huge deal with working with a wedding planner. You have to have trust between the two of you in order for it to come out stunning, and this day totally did.
Dreaming Tree Events: Everything to the fabric draping on the big focal point tree, the beautiful green ribbons Emily had put together, all the eclectic items from various houses. It was all so beautiful and all so Emily and Dan.
A remarkable ending
Dreaming Tree Events: I have never seen such a long line for a sparkler send off in all my days. Usually by the end of the night people go home for a night cap and head to bed. Not this crowd, they were all ready to go!
