The lovely Australian couple met when they were just 17 years old and were high school sweethearts.
From the Bride, Amy: We share so many similar values and we are surrounded by such loving and supportive friends and family. We have experienced many firsts together and have come so far in the 9 years we have been together.
The Venue
Having their first trip overseas together in Bali years ago, Amy & Benjamin always knew that it would be their wedding destination. They were both in love with the beautiful culture and people. Also, having it so close to home is definitely an added value. The decision about Tirtha was an instant choice for both Amy and Ben.
From the couple, Amy + Benjamin: We were so drawn to Tirtha because the venue alone is so beautiful that it did not require a lot of extra added decorations in order to make our wedding look stunning.
Wedding Decoration and Outfits
Amy came up with a timelessly romantic wedding theme, and decorated the wedding venue at Tirtha Wedding with sweet pink and white roses. Paired with the groom’s impeccable navy blue tuxedo and Amy’s stunning laced gown and classic medium length veil, everything just seemed to flatter each other seamlessly.
Special Moments
There were many special moments for the couple. Starting from how their wedding jitters disappeared as soon as they saw each other at the chapel, to the spectacular fireworks during the dance party. And of course, their first dance.
Amy: Benjamin and I had a very special moment together at the reception when everyone was eating. When we looked into each other’s eyes, we couldn’t believe that we were finally at our own wedding, at our dream location, surrounded by our loved ones who were all so happy for us! We definitely felt the love, and it was so surreal. Time stopped for a moment right then for us. We took it all in, and soaked up the special moment.
The Menu
The couple chose a lavish five-course dinner menu, as they wanted to offer different options for their guests to enjoy personally.
Amy + Benjamin: Everyone said that they were mesmerized by the stunning venue, and complimented the food and the professional and timely services provided by the venue staff. We had a lot of people say that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended!
